Sweeter than Nuffnang

Hey look at this. Every day I receive emails like this. Their promises and their words are so sweet. Sweeter than sugar or honey. Even Nuffnang himself, never make promise as sweet as this.

This kind of email are still piling up in my spam box. I'm fed up with these stupid and does not make sense tactics.

Why do they send emails like this? According to Mr Azli Paat, they actually want to steal our personal information. So be careful all. Don't fill up any form that they ask you to do so.

Ada juga polis yang tak tahu... atau ambil mudah saja tentang hal ini.

Bukan benda baru. Rasanya bukan berlaku di Keningau saja. Di mana-mana tempat pun berlaku masalah sama. Buat jejantas malas nak daki... buat "zebra crossing" pula... lain yang jadi...

Di Jalan Masak ada satu "zebra crossing". Rasanya semua pemandu tahu apa tujuan "zebra crossing" itu disediakan. Ya lah kan... kalau ada lesen memandu, mesti dah kursus tentang ini.

Jika kita menghampiri "zebra crossing" kita kena perlahankan kenderaan dan perhatikan pejalan kaki yang hendak melintas. Jika ada sahaja pejalan kaki yang meletakkan kaki ke "zebra crossing", pemandu kenderaan patut berhentikan kenderaan. Berilah pejalan kaki mendapatkan haknya untuk melintas. Kalau ada lampu isyarat pula, ikut arahan lampu isyaratlah.... 

Tapi di Keningai ni... jangan kan orang awam. Polis sendiripun melanggar undang-undang. Tcr Ain nampak dengan mata kepala sendiri. Polis yang memandu kereta polis, tidak memberhentikan kenderaan sedangkan pada masa tu ada seorang wanita sedang mengendong bayinya, sedang melintas melalui "zebra crossing". Apa perasaan kamu jika wanita dan bayi itu sedara mara kamu? Marah tak??? 

Bukan itu sahaja... pegawai polis tu sedang bercakap pakai telefon bimbit lagi. Bukan guna "handsfree set" pun. Sedangkan kalau pakai "handsfree" pun impaknya macam memandu dalam keadaaan mabuk, apa lagi kalau tangan sebelah kat stering, sebelah lagi kat telefon tangan. 

Minta maaf lah kepada polis-polis... Tidak dinafikan tugas mereka menjaga keselamatan negara amat berat dan besar untuk dipikul. Bukan semua polis macam ni... Tahu tu... Tapi janganlah kerana nila setitik, habis rosak susu sebelanga. 

Arak halal? Agtaghfirullahalaziimmmm...

Minuman jenama Istak keluaran syarikat arak Arpanoosh. Istak merupakan sejenis bir, tanpa alkohol. Lebih kurang macam minuman Malta, keluaran Guineess Beer and Beverages Co. Minuman tanpa alkohol memang tak haram. Cuma apabila dilihat rupa luarannya yang menyerupai arak, maka akan timbul was-was. Tcr Ain dah tanya dah beberapa orang budak tentang gambar minuman ni. Tcr Ain tanya "boleh tak Muslim minum ni?" Semua mereka jawab "tak boleh.. inikan arak"

Cuba bayangkan konon-kononnya kita beli minuman ni dan bawa balik rumah. Di rumah pula ada anak-anak kecil. Tak kah mereka ingat kita minum arak pula?

Masalah was-was tu yang bahaya! Minum sajalah air lain... buat apa nak minum air gini... Kan banyak air lain.. Tak pasal-pasal pulak nanti orang sekeliling meragui kita. Jangan menimbulkan wasangka buruk orang terhadap kita.

May 27, 2010, exactly 37 years of the late Tan Sri Dr P Ramlee leave us.

He was born in Counter Hall, now known as Jalan P. Ramlee in his mother's parents house on March 22, 1929. Then he grew up in Kg Java, Penang.

His mother is known as Che Mah or Mak Mah. His father called Tengku Nyak Puteh, was a mechanic at Kg Java.

He received early education at Sekolah Malay Kampong Jawa and then to the Francis Light School. Subsequently he resumed his studies at the Penang Free School until the outbreak of World War II. During the Japanese occupation in Malaya, he studied at the School of the Japanese Navy. P Ramlee expert speaking in Japanese. He returned to Penang Free School when the war ended. He started playing music since he was in high school. He joined several bands in Kampung Jawa.

1947 tests conducted by the Penang Free School. P Ramlee pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English only. After that he did not continue his studies further. He played music more seriously.

He later moved to Singapore. to be more seriously in art.

In Singapore, the film director at first was to use his voice only, to sing songs in the film. Due to lack of actors, he also offered to play a minor role. P. Ramlee 's first film role was "Chinta" in 1948. He starred as a villain and background singer.

P Ramlee's acting career has evolved with the coming of the new director of Shaw Brothers who came from India, L Krishnan. L Krishnan was like P Ramlee played hero. At first, the Shaw Brothers had not agreed. The Shaw has said that the P Ramlee was not handsome, got more pimples and crouch lean. L Krishnan, finally convinced Shaw Brothers. The movie showed good result and received good response from the public. From there the name of P Ramlee became famous. Its success continues to grow and has starred in 27 films between 1948 to 1955.

Ramlee directed his first film Penarik Becha (The Trishaw Man). In 1957, Ramlee would act in the first of his Bujang Lapok (Dowdy Bachelors) comedic films that he acted along S. Shamsuddin along with Aziz Sattar, which are still popular among the modern Malay film watchers.

During his career he directed and acted in sixty-six films, and had more than 360 songs to his credit. Among his films that received awards are:

• Best Musical Score for Hang Tuah — Third Asian Film Festival, Hong Kong (1956)

• Best Male Actor for Anak-ku Sazali (My son, Sazali) — Fourth Asian Film Festival, Tokyo (1957)

• Best Comedy Film for Nujum Pak Belalang (The Fortune Teller) — Seventh Asian Film Festival, Tokyo (1960)

• Most Versatile Talent for Ibu Mertua Ku (My Mother In-law) — Tenth Asian Film Festival, Tokyo (1963)

• Best Comedy Film for Madu Tiga (Three Wives) — Eleventh Asian Film Festival, Taipei (1964)

His final film was Laksamana Do Re Mi in 1972 and his last song and lyrics was Ayer Mata Di Kuala Lumpur in 1973 before his death.
